Oh, the internet!

I am not even sure how to label this. This is definitely one of the funniest internet moments of my life.

Change

I logged into my blogger yesterday and noticed how I always had picture of Yuki Nagato as my display image. A rare expression on her.
Anyhow, I thought I should change it. Since every website is different and what it has to offer is different and because I almost detest the idea of having my own picture on blogger and because I fancy "no one knows who I really am" on blogger and most of all because I am after all a design student, I thought "what the heck, let's make one!"

Case No. 1: By how the ideals go, less is more. I came up with this:
Photoshop with basic shapes
and  my latest, most favourite font,
Walkway Ultrabold

Case No. 2: Because I am my own fail inspiration, I like to draw myself and because I changed my hair last month and now have a D-fringe (I am not sure if that is what it is called - shame! I study in a fashion college), I thought "what the heck, let's try drawing that hideous face with epic hair and new glasses."
Keeping the loony expression of Yuki Nagato (current display image) and my ultra volatile personality (strictly over blogger) in mind, here's what I came up with:

(Watercolour on fail (print) paper)

Case No. 3: Or maybe just a picture of my new glasses (bigger and better in strong contrast to less is more, Case No.1)

I don't click good pictures even with an object
that doesn't move and a camera that's called Nikon d5100.
Maybe, it's the lens (15-55mm VR)

So, you guys can go ahead and tell me which one you'd prefer. No. 1, 2 or 3?

Obviously, I am not going to take your feelings into account before changing the picture. It's just a game I wanted play.
Cha!

I Came, I Ate and I Slept

I have been in my hometown for the past one week with 24x7 internet access but the given condition that's the sole constant in my life.. yeah, my lazy genes, didn't allow me to.. uh, let's just say create a new post in order to let my humble minions know that yeah.. their Lord was back.

Come to think of it, it would be have been a totally worthless effort cause in all probability, I am not going to make any new posts in the near future for I now live in the city that's known to be India's New York.. Bombay (now, known as Mumbai).

Bombay kicks, kills and pwns.
I hardly get to sleep and whoa, it feels good to crib once again.

Nice!

Anyway, I have a train to catch in the next three hours and man, I haven't even started packing.
Damn.

So yeah, this half-assed post was like an update for all those who wished to catch up and know what's the scene like.

*settles her glasses*

Ciao.

What sucks more?

Comparing things/situations/people is only obvious when one tends to think.

Like I was just wondering what sucks more. The fact that I couldn't clear NID or the fact that I did clear NIFT.

Have some more of those.
What sucks more..
Carrying no lunch to school or carrying some Parle-G biscuits?
Writing about yourself in your blog or writing about other people instead?
Not doing anything constructive or doing something totally destructive!?
Talking real or talking like a fool?
Being bad at Mathematics or holding wannabe knowledge of it?
Empathizing with a cynic or listening an optimist speak?
Being uncool or feeling unwanted?
Reading a manga or wasting time?
Looking at a genius express mediocrity in the best of ways or watching a mediocre not being able to figure it out at all??

Seriously.
What sucks more?

Bejin Hakumei updating her blog or just leaving it dead?

Updates

After the fail Hindi post, I think it's time I put in some updates from my side.

1. Yeah. It's been a long while. I missed blogger, couldn't get the time.. blah blah. Shit.
2. Yeah. I flunked. Again.
3. For more details read up this post from a year ago. Link!

The one thing that I would seriously want to do is to erase this lame label on my blog that reads 'NID'. I mean seriously. Who do these guys actually select? Aliens from Hooga Land?! Anyway, no hard feelings NID buggers but you just lost out on a potentially brilliant, up and coming ...err, okay. Who am I trying to fool here..

So yeah. Catch is, I don't discuss it with my folks. I don't cry. I don't give direct answers to those who question 'so, what next?', 'are you okay?', I certainly don't feel good and yet I am not particularly torn apart either. So, WHY? Why do I have to log into my blogger and blog about it? Yeah, I too have troubles dealing with myself.

What's interestingly hilarious is the fact that not many people know about NID and I do this free advertising for them. If not as a design student, maybe they could recruit me as their advertising consultant or something. I mean look at it this way. I make it seem like it's such a big deal when I know it's not, cause many a fags do make it through this damned exam after all. I could too. If only I wasn't this big a loser. But I'll save the cribbing for some other time.

Anyway. All that is shit. The news is that my blog will have a brand new label.
Yeah!
No kidding!

(Junta: WTF is she making a big deal out of everything now!??)

The new label: Epic Fail

Thanks to this new gamer buddy of mine I nicked out a few not-so-new-but-totally-cool-nevertheless gamer words from his existing vocabulary. Words like n00b, pwned (owned), epic, fail etc. etc. Watch out for these words cause I now use them shamelessly, sometimes over exploiting their worth.
Pretty cool eh?

So yeah. In this new label I shall put forward all of my latest accomplishments in the field of Loserism. Since good things are almost like a miracle that could happen to me and bad things are what I am always full of, I guess this new label is going to be a huge hit (in my own little circle of nothingness) and have tons of posts (that is, if I chuck aside my laziness and start on with some blogging once again).

Seriously. What kind of people do these NID losers select huh? <---- Repetitively Annoying Bitch.

The L Factor and the Story of Being Officially Elled..!

We all hail the greatness of the F word but very few know the effness of the L word..!

It was only yesterday afternoon when I was thinking of how versatile the letter 'L' is. I mean 'L' stands for both
Lawliet and Light. 'L' also stands for "lame", "lust", "lounge" and ultimately 'L' also stands for a term often associated with me.. that is, loser. Only little did I know that the same night I was going to be "officially" elled..!

Yup, most of you already know it and those of you who don't .. well, I haven't been selected for NID.
So, the news is out and from now I am not going to crib on being called a loser. Instead, I am going to bow down Japanese style and humbly accept the tag.
.
.

It all happened yesterday night somewhere around 10:00 p.m. I was happily chatting with my long lost buddy, Devika Misra when I suddenly got a call from a coaching friend telling me the NID results were out. Panicky and hyper, I joined my hands and prayed to the Lord to grant me this sole wish [for the first time in the past 6 years] Next you see me sitting with my dad, stuck on the computer screen, typing the site name and finally my roll number only to find out this:

IRA ANAND

Category: GEN
Sorry! You have not qualified for the 2nd Phase of NID Admissions for GDPD 2009-10.

Man, it was written in the most apologetic tone of all that made me wryly mock at myself for being such a mighty loser!
My father who was at that time sitting next to me, moved away without saying anything a normal comforting parent would (I am kinda glad he didn't). And voila, next you see me calling, IMing, scrapping and texting the 'concerned lot' telling them about my result.
.
.
Writing all of it here in my blog and making a public issue out of something I would have rather shared secretly with a friend makes me a drama queen but it's better than staying up all night and staring at the fan run steadily in the room's ceiling.

I always knew I had it in me.. I mean the L Factor but the fact got confirmed in a rather harsh way. Anyway, I would like to admit that the past two years have been amazingly extreme and being the cynical brat that I am, I pretty much enjoyed most of it; including yesterday's long and quiet night. And even though it was such a drag I bet it's one of those nights which I shall forever remember!

Ah, feels good to be elled yet again

*laughs like a maniac*

*shoots herself*

On blogging, bloggers and Subcultural Pornography!

Ahem(eh)em!
Attention people, attention.

I have yet again come here with the sole purpose of writing yet another piece of shit that will either get comments like "you suck" or "why do you even bother!??". But here, I wish to tell those friends of mine [read Nishant and Sanjukta] that this time I resort to write something more than just two lines. What I intend to do is but a mystery to me but alas, I am here to give it a try.

Okay, so the reason as to why I never bothered to write much in here is because I was:
1. too busy sleeping
2. too busy with S.P.
3. too busy getting hyper about my NID exam

The thing that does piss me off at this stage is that none of it helped (apart from sleeping of course!)

So, from here on I shall start from the very beginning. The first time I heard the word blog, it was some three or four years back when my very brother Nanga Fakir told me about his own blog which was for me (and still is) so goddamn awesome!
Though I have read several blogs in the past three years, all I had in mind was that when I create my blog it'll be something like that of Nanga Fakir's. Full of movie reviews, list of books read and maybe some personal experiences written in a satirical fashion, but what I didn't know was the fact that it's so goddamn tough! Having being told by a few (including some friends, parents, well-wishers and Orkut fellow mates) that I was good with words, and that I could play with them in an appealing fashion I was compelled to (sort of) make a blog of my own.. but that's so not it, the main reason had been NID.
NID people are supposed to respect creativity, individuality and intellect. All of it is supposed to be in me, all I needed to do was show it! And voila, what could be better than a blog to show off what a wannabe asshole you are!
Sad scene is I screwed up my NID paper so bad that this blog ain't required anymore and hell, it can go to the pits..!
X_x

At this moment of dullness what seems best is if I indulge myself in something that's least artistic and most distracting.. No not a cigarette but Subcultural Pornography!
But sadly, all the losers are offline and it ain't any good at this hour of the day.

Ultimately all I have to say is "Life eej A hard..!"
